I was commissioned to design and paint a mural in the entrance stairway to a rare botany collection. I wanted to create a mural that felt timeless and fitted into the environment. I used subdued, heritage colour pallet and the image references came from old botanical painting. Plants and cross sections included are from the cabinet of propagation in the botany gallery. showing the different pods / methods of plant reproduction. September 2019
