‘We’re not anybody, without anyone else’

This piece created for London Mural Festival, it aims to capture a moment of softness, calm and tenderness, in contrast to the environment it sits.

I’ve been exploring ideas around memory and connection, fleeting moments and people who impact our lives. particularly inspired by @aview.fromabridge series.

I wanted to create a piece that counteracts the cold hard edges of sky scrapers and big business of Canary Wharf and The City.

I created the aesthetic using drawings and collage - see previous post of the model I used, playing with space and layers. editing and omitting elements, which leaves only silhouettes, echoes.

The papery qualities of the collage translates through paint to give warmth and texture.
